Oil Eating Bacteria

Global Peat is an organic product found naturally in the ground. It is unique in respect of the oil eating bacteria it contains in comparison to cellulose based products such as cotton pulp, paper and wood fibre all of which contain small numbers of oil eating bacteria or none at all.

Appropriate PPE should be warn and disposal of used absorbents should be to landfarm, via incineration or to approved landfill in accordance with local regulations

Delivery costs: We are based in Maroochydore for pick up otherwise fees are as follows per order.

Caloundra to Noosa: $6.50 Orders for 1.5kg and 3kg bags only

Caloundra to Noosa:$8.00 Orders for 6kg bags and above

Australia Post is $8.35 for 1.5kg bag and $8.85 for 3kg bag.

Anything above this size will be deilvered by Impact Asphalt or a courier service at a set fee. Impact Asphalt have reduced by hand delivering the product themselves directly to your door to help minimise the cost for our customers or you are more than welcome to collect yourself from our site in Maroochydore. Please see below for delivery fee's.

** Any Global Peat orders for bags of1.5kg ($8.35) to3kg ($8.85)still within the Sunshine Coast but outside the areas listed above including the Hinterland region will be delivered through Australia Post.

** Any Global Peat orders for bags of 6kg and above still within the Sunshine Coast but outside the areas listed above including the Hinterland region, have a delivery fee of $10.00 to $15.00 depending on location. Please phone for details.

Please Note:

Global Peat is a product best used directly on a spill area immediately after the spillage has occured to achieve thebest results. It will not be as effictive if the spill has been left for a long period of time ie: It will not remove old stains or spills you may have on a driveway that have been there for a number of years. We advise people to have this product on hand in their homes, offices, work sites etc to be fully prepared for a spillage of oil, petroleum, solventsor hydrocarbon based liquids to minimise the damage these products can cause to surface areas and help reduce extensive costs involved in repairing these areas if left untreated.
